One of the noteworthy things about him and his video is that, while, sure, it made you laugh, his obvious sincerity kept him from being an object of ridicule: the laughter, in my experience, was more of the fond “man, that’s awesome” kind (or maybe “man, I wish I were that high”).
He commented not too long ago about how since that video people think of him whenever they see a double rainbow, and I gotta say, that’s not a bad legacy.
