People in COVID-19 lockdowns listen to nostalgic music on Spotify

Now access to music is essentially unlimited and, being pandeminauts*, many of us have time to actually listen and catch up. Not really nostalgia. More like reading older books.

*What is the right word for those of us riding out a pandemic? Pandemineers?

** Looks at the playlists I have created this year **

Well, I guess they’re on to something.

Listen to music that this could never apply to and you don’t have to worry about this so much.

Not a ton of Napalm Death in supermarkets I don’t think.

It’s not such a “worry” that I’m about to go all hipster over it.

Nah you’ll just keep being a cornball square. Much easier!

Hey, I agree that most music played in grocery stores is “cornball” crap, but that doesn’t mean that all of it is. It also doesn’t mean that about 99% of the music I like would never get onto a grocery store’s playlist (well, unless it’s a natural food co op, maybe).
