Likely also a lot of credential stuffing, where a insecure service leaks user passwords and an attacker just tries the same username and password combination on high value services.

Probably needs to be activated at the register - like gift cards, etc. Decent anti-theft system - though I bet there are ways around that too.

Makes sense. If you buy Oculus, you’re a paying customer. If you just use Facebook, you’re the product, and who ever heard of a product complaining?
