I bought one of these when they came out (huge Pee-Wee fan) and never taking it out of its box, hoping it might have some value someday. Then years later, my toddler son discovered it in a closet and that was the end of the box and the “mint condition”.
But it too had the broken voice box.

after seeing what she went through to just get the voice box out, i’m glad i never succumbed to the thought of taking mine apart to fix it. what a pain!

I usually just use chamomile tea with honey when my voice starts to get scratchy instead of resorting to DIY surgery.

OMG, I have one of these and it’s suffering from the same problem as described in the video. I might see if I can fix mine!
