A variation on an old trick, but very nicely done. I hadn’t seen the two-piece variation, but it’s the same idea.

The puzzle pieces slid upward in the frame a noticeable distance (~3mm) when he pushed them with his thumb at 0:26. This indicates what we all know, the frame is sized wrong for the initial, smaller puzzle.
