Every. Damn. Day:
Also, Thiel just gave Warren the best ‘back-handed’ endorsement that he possibly could have.

If anything, I’d have been tempted to say that Google tilts conservative, since the news feed algorithm floats so many Fox News turds stories to the top where I can see them.
I think it’s a matter of Google tracking you and thinking you like Fox. I see mostly USA Today and CBS. Then again I don’t use Google search or read the news on Google.
that’s exactly how I feel every day. I wake up thinking…yup, it can’t get worse than yesterday, yet here we are. Every day.
It’s like the global apocalypse happened and we are all stuck in the same god damn hell together.
I had heard this was true when they owned Motorola. They were keeping an eye on some people they were aware of.
Feel the same way, but my mind always have that expletive in there.
Reason 1,258,826 to like Elizabeth Warren.
But what’s really getting under Thiel’s skin?
With Trump, it’s always projection. He knows he’s done everything (and more) that he’s accusing other people of doing that he characterizes as “treason.” Accusing everyone else of what he’s done probably diminishes the seriousness of it in his own mind as well.
Just waiting for Thiel and company to have their own Hugo Boss to give them some creepy uniforms with skulls and bones and crap. Seriously, it’s like no one learned from the last time we had this go around of fascism.
Never thought I’d say this, but I really miss the old days when billionaires kept their yaps shut and exercised their power in the background.
“Most dangerous candidate” goes right alongside “nevertheless she persisted” as ready-made campaign slogans that someone thought were attacks.
The facebook/chumbox ads make themselves:
“Billionaire libertarian vampires hate her!”
So who’s going to tweet at the SEC asking them to investigate if Thiel broke the law by manipulating the market like that? [Yeah, I know the odds of that happening in Trump’s circus.]
Big article on Palantir on Motherboard right now:
Motherboard obtained a Palantir user manual through a public records request, and it gives unprecedented insight into how the company logs and tracks individuals.
Except that as a legal term, the number of valid uses of the term in the past 25 years has been vanishingly small.
As in, Hoda Muthana comes closer to meeting the legal definition, but still not quite there. As it’s always been applied in the past, it requires a declaration of war against a foreign power… But, for cases like that I’m willing to write a pass.
People need to stop using the word Treason in political discussions. Instead say, “betrayed”, “committed a felony” something. Seriously. It weakens your argument if you invoke a legal principle that you obviously never looked up. (you as in They, the people using the word, I’m not picking a fight with You obviously)

I still get wistful over the idea of a taco truck on every corner.
But could we please not accuse anybody of treason?
In 2017 Tramp’s UN ambassador and Putin’s defense minister, both cabinet level, declared that Russia is waging war on the US. Any USAnian supporting Russian force is guilty of treason.
Heh. I normally try to run the numbers a couple of times before listening to deep-pocketed and well-connected tycoons painting a politician they dislike as “dangerous”. Not necessarily in this case, though. Never mind the 12-dimensional chess; outside of his beloved tech-boardroom environment, Thiel seems about as capable of genuine chicanery as a five-year-old child.
Yeah, Warren’s stock just rose several points in my estimation…
