That was a real thrill for my gang of friends and I when we were growing up in New Jersey. The quantity of abandoned places was numerous and not without some interesting finds too. I still have a WWll leather air flight helmet I found in a draw of an old desk, gosh I look good in that thing.

Although it’s not a thing I do regularly, I’ve done some urban exploring. One of the more interesting things is going into abandoned military installations, not all of which are cordoned off with No Trespassing signs.

Saw David Byrne in Hammersmith (London :grinning:) in June, and yes this was one of the songs he did. I urge anyone who can get to one of the gigs to do so - absolutely bloody amazing night.

I may or may not have shelled out for another ticket for Brighton in October…
