On repeat. All day long. Your neighbours will love you
Don’t even have to click that link to know that this is the correct answer.
Ten hours of it.
You’re welcome.
I’d torture them by playing “Who Let The Dogs Out?” on loop. Not just because it’s a terrible song, but because they’d know that nobody let the dogs out, and nobody will.
Next day you find your door broken down, your dog let out, and your sound equipment smashed into tiny pieces, but as none of your neighbors will confess you will still not know who let the dog out.
I don’t do this normally, but I do play soothing music for my dog during thunderstorms, and it does help him stay calm and feel safe. Now that I have speakers I can control remotely, I can do the same if I’m out.
When I’m home, I’ll sometimes put noise cancelling over the ear headphones on him (no sound or extremely low volume) instead, and it has the same or more effect. He seems to understand what the headphones are doing and leaves them on when the alternative is scary sounds.
Also, my cat loves watching videos, of any kind really but especially nature and aquariums. So I can keep them both happy by putting on Balu on Youtube.

He’d better! Helicopters are deafeningly loud without them. I love how much he enjoys it.
