It’s just that Tromp and his gang of Republicans don’t come across to most USians as that ugly, as that vile. And that’s thanks in large part to most media outlets, who’ve normalized it all, and shied away from “controversy.”
I overheard some NPR coverage of the convention today. It was all happy, jolly and chipper, just another political party having another convention and happy to be together, isn’t that nice and sort of exciting and wonderful, blah blah blah. Very little mention of policy, let alone how awful their entire platform and intentions are.
NPR = Now Pro Republican
Yeah, I had to turn NPR off this morning.
I turned it off years ago. I miss Wait Wait but I’ll live.
