That might have inspired the guy I worked with. I worked at the coffee shop from 93’ - '98. I don’t recall what year the prank was though.

I was thinking about the same thing. I remember seeing an interview about the making of Amelie, and if I remember correctly, this was the inspiration.

I don’t think Eric owned a car. Hence the walking home in the rain. But there was revenge pranking. But nothing memorable.
