You might want to change the word “artist” to “perpetrator” as in the original article. This destructive schmo may style himself an artist, but he’s just another attention-seeking vandal riding the coattails of people with actual talent.
Not familiar with the original piece, but looking at the picture of it it does look quite striking. It’s a shame it’s been destroyed, if that was a piece i made i would be devastated.
Surprised this ‘art critic’ hasn’t been banned from galleries everywhere.
That moronic, self-obsessed vandal needs a nice quiet spot, some fingerpaints, and a load of cheap paper.
So one artist can break an unreplaceable piece of art and that’s a social commentary, but let someone break a piece that can be redone and that’s vandalism? As stated earlier, what goes around comes around.
