with the US dollar as global reserve currency this is kind of working. until China stops buying US treasuries* and a few important oil-producing countries switch to another currency** for trading the stuff.
* and they reduced them in the last few years

That is why it is a good “alternative fact”. Any “fact” for which the answer is “when somebody disagrees, bomb them back to the hunter and gatherer age” is a good USA approved “alternative fact”.
