Having been inspired by our no longer showing up hedgehog owner who is an avid birder I went to an outing of more causal birders yesterday.
A picture not by me of the big owl we spotted and it was apparently not upset by the group gawking at it.

You can officially take your dog to Rockaway beach after Labor Day. This is cooper. A very handsome rescue pup.
