We reinforced the middle cat shelf. This cat is…well, lumbering is a good word. He has tremendous strength, and is a derp. His leaps take much time, shaking of the rear, and false starts, and he lands heavy .
Now he is pleased. His shelf is stable, and he can survey both inside and the street outside in comfort.

A regular customer of the neighbour´s exotic and tropical fruit bar.
The rufous-bellied thrush (Turdus rufiventris) is a songbird of the thrush family (Turdidae). It occurs in most of east and southeast Brazil from Maranhão south to Rio Grande do Sul states, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay and central regions of Argentina.
It is one of the most common birds across much of southeastern Brazil, and is known there under the name sabiá-laranjeira (Portuguese pronunciation: [sɐ̞biˈa lɐ̞ɾɐ̃ˈʒejɾɐ]). It was famously referred to in the well-known first strophe of the Brazil...

Not surprisingly, it resembles its northern cousin.
The American robin (Turdus migratorius) is a migratory songbird of the true thrush genus and Turdidae, the wider thrush family. It is named after the European robin because of its reddish-orange breast, though the two species are not closely related, with the European robin belonging to the Old World flycatcher family. The American robin is widely distributed throughout North America, wintering from southern Canada to central Mexico and along the Pacific Coast. It is the state bird of Connect...

Sort of a cross between the American robin and the European one, except with the breast colors flipped:

I had to use the crap front camera to see what I was shooting. A documentation of Tasha cuddling, which is a recent occurrence, and probably not related to the weather, which has been warmer lately.

Exactly. I soak her food for 15 minutes to make sure she gets enough moisture, and she bats at my arm and meows in her hoarse voice the entire time.

Machetornis rixosus (Vieillot, 1819)
The cattle tyrant (Machetornis rixosa) is a species of bird in the tyrant-flycatcher family Tyrannidae. It is the only member of the genus Machetornis. The relationships of this species and genus to other genera in the tyrant flycatchers are uncertain. It resembles Tyrannus flycatchers, but this may be the result of convergence. Three subspecies are recognised, the nominate race, M. r. flavigularis and M. r. obscurodorsalis, although the latter two many no...
The masked water tyrant (Fluvicola nengeta) is a species of bird in the family Tyrannidae, the tyrant flycatchers, one of three in the genus Fluvicola.
It is found in its major range in eastern and southeastern Brazil in the caatinga and extreme eastern cerrado, and also Atlantic coastal regions; a second smaller disjunct range occurs on the Pacific side of South America in western Ecuador, and coastal border regions of northwest Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical mangrove...

Thank you!
Que bom que você gostou.
I am glad you liked it. They were digging a ditch and as they rummaged the dirt, several bugs and earthworms just popped. It became a kind of buffet for birds.

I’ve noticed that when I mow the lawn around my house, any robins in the area consider the engine noise to be the equivalent of a dinner bell. Soon I’ll see one or two of them hopping alongside or behind me, hoovering up the bugs that have been stirred up.
