Ready for 2020.
Very cool.
I liked this solution. I usually see feeders with holes in the base, the most common ones that we can find in any pet shop.
This idea was very good and different! I noticed when I watched your video, that this type of feeder also allows the bird to rest a little on the lid.
I will try to make one. I think I have an empty soy sauce container somewhere in the kitchen.
Shoebill.
The Eurasian oystercatcher (Haematopus ostralegus) also known as the common pied oystercatcher, or palaearctic oystercatcher, or (in Europe) just oystercatcher.
Try not to look like a catfish.
I had a visitor today
The intertubes tell me it’s a Red Spotted Purple.
Don’t let the name confuse you! This butterfly is mostly black and blue, lined with white dashes and orange spots on the tips of the forewings. The undersides of its wings look a bit more purple, with more orange spotting and lined in white dashes.
That’s giving me the ASMR tingles!
Is that a roadrunner?!
Yeah, my parents’ “pet” roadrunner. Just there for water today, otherwise he taps on the back windows to demand more mealworms.
My wife’s eldest daughter has a new pupper and they both came to visit today.
This is moments after she decided to call him “Charlie”. To quote Hercules Grytpype-Thynne, “well, you look like a Charlie.”
Yup, with Ruby and Tasha, this is the moment right before Tasha has had enough and bites down on Ruby like Spock’s shoulder grip.
For an hour or so every day, the sun illuminates the dog’s bed. The opportunity to sleep comfortably is never wasted.
