I’m working in the garage my wife is working upstairs out of ear shot of the cats. I come in the house and find this.
Those cookies were in the closed cupboard right above those food dishes. We used to have child/cat safety locks on the cupboards but we thought he lost interest or forgot how, guess not.

He came upstairs to help with the second bathroom makeover. That’s a long way down. He was watching the ducks in the pop up lake from all the rain.
After the cookie binge he needed a nap and passed out in the drawer. Couldn’t finish organizing the drawers until his nap was over.

Rat snake, I think. Though it pretended to be a rattlesnake.
