Once a cat crawls up on my wife she won’t move until the cats let her. They have her trained well.

The dark one was persistent and the white one was not going to budge. It took about 30 minutes for him to give in and find another bed.

I got up to go to bed and looked over at my wife. They’ll both be there until around 1am when he will most certainly throw up on the blanket. But every morning he wakes up is a good morning.
The other 3 are in their beds for now, one will end up in bed with me before midnight.

I got up this morning and couldn’t imagine why all the cats had their belts loosened chillin’ on the couch watching tv. I know exactly which one did this and he knows I know but because he’s not doing well he gets free passes and I think he knows it.

Three of our cats only eat when they’re hungry and are all healthy weights.
The guy that spilled that is not well and constantly hungry but never gains weight. He actually loses weight no matter how much he eats. He is under a vet’s care.
He’s been training for that big spill for several weeks by knocking big things off high places and taking notes.

I used to keep catnip in a plastic container out in the open, until I came home from work one day to find the container on the floor, full of punctures from claws & teeth. That stuff gets stored in a cabinet now.

A pair of cardinals on the feeder.
The birds are in breeding mode. The sparrows have their breeding plumage and the finches are bright red.
This week i’ve seen the Grackles return and the Robins too. I wonder if the Blue Jays will come back too?

This male cardinal spends like an hour on this tree every morning lately, singing and calling. The females completely ignore him and look for food.
