Your stuff is amazing, so now I need to take a look.

eta: I took a look and her photos are amazing, too. Loved her descriptions and advice. (I see that she is a professional )

The old sick guy tonight. With all his problems he’s also a bit blind. He sleeps with his eyes open sometimes.

And this can’t possibly be comfortable for him or my wife but they’re both sound asleep.

Bitey Kitten is fascinated by the sink. Here it’s ice cubes melting, but washing dishes and food prep are equally exciting. I miss the days when she couldn’t make the leap to the counter.

My Pastel insists on drinking from the faucet while I do dishes, so I keep the spout over the dirty dish side and “borrow” the spout from her when I want to rinse. :man_shrugging:

This our feral that I’ve talked about, brought him inside a year ago, he’s four and is strictly an inside kitty.

He got up this morning, ate breakfast, ran around, played, took a nap played some more, ate some more and then when it was time for bedtime cookies he didn’t come for them. We found him in his bedroom lethargic, drooling with his tongue out. All of the other cats are fine. There was only about an hour between being fine and how we found him.

I called our vet, they said only one doctor on staff this evening call the emergency hospital, first hospital said 5 to 6 hour wait. Second hospital said 2 to 4 hours until they heard his symptoms.

Get him here immediately.

They are not allowing anyone inside due to covid, my wife is there in the parking lot waiting for the results of every test known to cats because the vet has no idea. He is on oxygen and has a 104 fever.

Emergency hospital runs are frightening.
Get well soon, kitto.

The vet just talked to my wife. Urinary tract infection, they’re shooting him up with antibiotics now. We’ve had cats for decades, been through many bladder infections and UTIs, it’s never caused these symptoms so suddenly but the vet says it can.

Just have to figure out which credit card to put several hundred dollars on.

The animal hospital is great. They come out to the car all masked up to pick up your pet and all employees inside are wearing masks. They called my wife a few times to let her know how things were going.

Should be home in a couple hours. Yay.

I am so glad he is ok! Frightening symptoms. We had to go to the emergency vet about a month ago for blood in urine. Was also a urinary infection

He’s home, still can’t stand up but he is hopped up on narcotics. Three different meds for a couple weeks.

On a side note, my wife said there was extra paperwork for the narcotics and they had to register her name in the opioid database.

On another side note, why can’t people medicine be like animal medicine? They quote a price up front and stick to it.

That was the first time I saw these parakeets eating flowers. They usually eat fruits.

Not much progress. He spent the night and all of today like this. He can pick his head up for a second or two but that’s about it.

He did make it to his litter box 2 feet away but it didn’t go well. He also licked a little food.

The wife will sleep on the floor with him again.

I’m sorry. Poor little guy… Does he have a follow up with his vet?

Sending my best wishes for you and the little furry guy.

While the hummingbirds were busy fighting, the marmosets took the opportunity to drink the sweet homemade nectar.
