Fascinating!
That is one of the cleanest mop buckets I’ve ever seen!
But of course it is clean. Who would have the courage to take the kitten out of there and use the bucket to something vain, I don’t know, like cleaning the floor?
is she one that was born in the laundry hamper? sleeps in the mop bucket?

Clarification…
The kittens were born outside while Dulce was hiding in a stack of furniture that was years old, with lots of dust and filth. I couldn’t figure out where they were until the first one followed Dulce out into the open. We managed to save two out of what we think were four kittens. That day I decided to bring them all inside with us to avoid any more eye or respiratory infection. Dulce is still struggling with sinus infection, but the kittens are doing well. I think the kittens took to the laundry hamper because it reminded them of the stacks of old clothing among the furniture.
The kittens have been doing some climbing lately, but Little Girl is exploring more than her brother, and has sunk her claws into my flesh a couple of times in an attempt to scale me to get to higher places.
(Not my gif…)
Not your gif, but we’ve all been those legs!
Ouch! Time to try acclimating them to nail clippers?
Our big orange fluffy one sometimes tries to jump onto me when I am standing. He’s 16 pounds.
I hope Dulce is able to kick that sinus infection soon
About 30 minutes ago, I was doling out grilled chicken to the cats, and Little Boy drew blood.
Now I’m gonna have to name him Charlie.
But of course!
Say hello to Buddy the Betta fish. I got him this weekend and he’s doing okay. The filter unfortunately is too strong for a five gallon tank so I got a sponge filter and adjustable air pump on order. I hope the filter comes soon otherwise I’m gonna just buy it from a local aquarium shop instead (always good to have backups). Edit: I had to do some redneck engineering and put a rectangular filter sponge onto the intake of the drop filter. It’s fugly so no pics of that (had to use unused hair bands to fix it to the intake).
Hello, fishy!
In a pinch, you can wrap some panty hose over the intake. It will stop his beautiful fins from getting sucked in
Yeah, for now I got a filter sponge around the in-take. He hates the flow but right now with the current super slow flow he’s okay with it now since he’s not tucking in his fins when he’s in the plants like he use to do. He’s just chilling and sometimes going around the tank. The new sponge filter I assume won’t be generating much current. Eventually, I’ll just upgrade to a 10 gallon setup when I get a better stand that can take the weight, but this will likely be later since I need to move into a new apartment soon before the end of 2023 since the company wants to renovate my apartment.
Ah, sorry. I missed that! It might be ugly, but it’ll do the job until you get the equipment you need. Beautiful fishy
