Most cancers are not caused by smoking. In fact, weâd prevent more types of cancer if we carefully monitored companies to ensure the workplace conditions were safe for long-term health. So are you saying youâd like more regulations and oversight on companies?

Gov. Haleyâs reply-speech came off as kind of formula and stilted. Lower taxes more jobs bleh bleh bleh.
But you have to give her and her speech writers and whoever in the GOP apparatus provided input for getting in digs at Trump and his hateful bullshit. Her speech was an example of the Overton Window moving away from teh crazie. Really, the GOP doesnât have any long-term prospects if it continues to follow that path.
Fuck cancer. Iâve got one friend with a hard-to-treat sarcoma that has spread to his lungs, and another who will likely lose a second child to cancer in the next year or so.
There wonât be one cure. Everyone with minimal understanding of the situation understands that. But there enough commonalities between the various cancers that it makes sense to hang a research target on them all.
