Excellent taste in canine companions. Aussies are the closest that dogs get to being cats.
Context: my ADHD twin sons were chronological littermates with a black tricolor Aussie. Too often he was the only totally accepting (and tracking them to school, too [1]) person they knew. Died at 14 after concealing abdominal cancer from us past any hope of treatment.
Epilogue: their little sister, first chance she got, searched with her husband all over Montana for a suitable Aussie. Who is awesome with their young.
[1] They really do herd whole playgrounds full of kids!
