We are well into the Golden Age of Handwringing
It is really bothering me that the graphic with this posting does not appear to lead to a possible word.
Ahh, but you can still use those words to catch your letters!
ulcer!
eta: when I posted this, I didn’t realize it was today’s answer.
Today’s move to the times just gave me a stomachache. I’m going to have to lay off the spicy foods.
I feel so stupid!
not getting a redirect in my address field, and the"wordle" type looks the same to me, but I don’t know what Karnak looks like ¯\ _ (ツ)_/¯
More so then the Victorian era? (I know you likely intended it as a joke, and it is funny…but is it also maybe true?)
I’m confused that ‘agora’ was on the original list, but not borrowed-from words from French or Spanish.
‘Fibre’, being the British spelling, actually makes sense now that it’s owned by a US company.
What’s wrong with ‘pupal’?
THOSE were on the original list? Oy vey. I agree: good riddance.
I rebelled at using it as a guess for so long this morning because I thought there’d be no way they’d use that as a word.
They’re just agoraphobic
They removed agora because they think agoras are how you get socialism? It’s cancel culture gone mad!
Is forum still on the list? Are they Hellenophobes?
Glad I saved it before it switched to the Times. I can just play on my own server and keep the “dirty” words!
All of these are terrible starter words.
Did you cache the website prior to it moving, perhaps? I did, but since I do Wordle on iOS I haven’t figured out how to play it without going through NYT.
Actually, no. Entering a guess that’s not in the Wordle list will trigger the message “Not on word list”.
