Put an inexpensive gel refill in your fancy Fisher Space Pen

Palomino Blackwing 602 or Tombow Mono 100.

I love gunky for drawing. I’m thinking about getting or making some of these:

kinda, it is also what makes it suck. i’ve always hated how the ink from those cartridges flow, but the space pen body has an excellent weight and form for my hand size, but that is a very personal thing that no two people agree on.

my favorite pens at the moment are actually pretty cheap.

the ink colors, the ink flow, the feel of the rubberized material, they really are a joy to draw and write with.

Hi there, you could try to use Monte Verde refills. They look the same but i am not sure how long the Space pens refills are. If they are 3.9 inches long Monte Verde refills might work. Check Goldspot.com / Pen Chalet

But do they give you the rich, dark, full-bodied flavour you need for those early morning meetings?

Replace the Fisher bullet pen body with a Zebra F-301 Compact.

It can use space pen refills and Pilot G2 refills with minor modifications.

I prefer a very fine point, something Fisher and Zebra don’t offer.

Unless when actually in space - the graphite dust will get into the panels and could short the odd circuit.
