Didn’t we have to walk 10 miles to school, in the snow, uphill both ways?
Didn’t I only have to walk 1/4 of a mile through an alfalfa field (and a neighbor’s yard)?
When did you start scripting the walk, through your neighbours yard?
my bizarro-meter exploded. is there a scientific proof that 2016 is really part of the normal spacetime continuum?
Could someone breed a virus that makes stupid physically painful?
This is not true?
Doesn’t it make sense if they have to support it in Azure and Hyper-V or whatever the hell they call their ESX clone?
oh, MS is since a few years rather active in the open source world, aren’t they? but isn’t the development from “kill it!” to platinum sponsor absurdly astonishing?
Haven’t I always thought their real flagship product is Office and Exchange and not necessarily the OS? (though I do like the OS, at least I don’t hate it more than any other OS)
Gates’ and Ballmer’s philosophy was “Microsoft only and everywhere”, details like cost-value ratio have to stand back, don’t you agree?
Hasn’t Office always been the cash cow?
Anybody else keep getting the Gif-versation thread confused with the Associate thread?
How can I tell if I am brain-damaged, or slow of wit?
How can I tell if my family members are brain-damaged, or slow of wit?
Is the fact I am wondering if my family members are brain-damaged or slow of wit a clue that I may be brain-damaged, or slow of wit?
Should I delay upgrading to Linux Mint 18 ‘Sarah’, even though I need it to run Tails 2.7, which is supposedly a strongly recommended upgrade from Tails (The Amnesic Incognito Live System) 2.6, as I can’t add the ppa for tails-installer to my Software Sources? Is it because I am slow of wit that I can’t find older versions of Tails that aren’t incremental upgrades?
Is Tails something most users would be wise to use? Should I adopt the public persona of a “oh goshdarnit this internet is so hard! LOL I miss my AOL CD!1!” so the Five Eyes think I’m brain-damaged or slow of wit?
So, does this mean we can’t talk to each other anymore?
Have we no common humanity/ground?
Is not TAILS a live CD? Does it not matter what the OS on the hard drive is?
Have I a Tails 2.7 .iso burned onto a DVD? Did I think maybe I wanted persistent storage and considered using a USB stick, but apparently two of them would be needed? Was I surprised and a little sad to see that I couldn’t add ‘ppa:tails-team/tails-installer’ because my system, supported until 2019, is too ‘old’?
Am I reconsidering the USB and ‘making do’ with the DVD, as I should be updating my drivers for my printer and resetting my LibreOffice? Am I wondering if some facets of updating Linux are for people with lots of caffeine and free time and no adult-life responsibilities and time restrictions?
Did I just have to be told that the DVD .iso is an intermediary step to installing it onto a USB drive, although the verbiage for the installation onto a DVD seems to gloss, at best, over that?
Don’t the shorter instructions require that I have Linux Mint 18, Ubuntu 16.04 or 15.10 installed?
Didn’t I think Linux Mint would be for lazy and tired minds like the one I have?
If your mind were truly lazy, wouldn’t you be discussing this in a thread that did not require the interrogative tone?
Isn’t this the thread technical discussions of this kind of nerdliness usually wind up in, though?
What do you mean, when you say “this”? Who do you mean, when you say “we”?
