Yep. Being generally unmoved by zombie movies, I think “The Return of the Living Dead” is exceptional.
Thats why MAGAt brains are so valuable. They are near impossible to find and never used.
… you might like “iZombie” then — it’s specifically an homage to RotLD more than anything else
Oh, no!
I hope it’s not too bad for you
Ice wraps for the headaches were the best thing I found, if you get them. Mine were vicious.
And if you get attacked by zombies, I think they’ll appreciate the chilled dessert. Such a fresh take on their usual meal.
This alert hurts.
This is my 2nd bout of COVID. I’m not nearly as sick as I was the first time. Plus, I qualify for Paxlovid, so that’s helping a ton. This time, my main symptoms have been some serious sinus drainage, and pretty bad body aches.
That reminds me, I need to go to Spatula City later this week.
I’ve heard the gift of a spatula is a great way to tell someone you love them.
RIP, Fugly.
Wait so now we’re all philosophical zombies? My degree finally came in handy!
I say I am having a conscious experience, but that’s what a p-zombie would say, now isn’t it?
Fugly
I woke up this morning on, October the fifth in the year of our lord 2023, and was not a zombie. This is notable for reasons which will shortly become clear. Because I am not a zombie, this means that I had to get up and do my job. Unfortunately, as a part of said job, a thing that I have to deal with on a frustratingly regular basis is the fairly pervasive idea that medieval Europeans were somehow uniquely stupid. The foolish medieval person is usually proffered in comparison to the total brain genius who is making the statement, who is somehow simultaneously smarter than a medieval person, and yet hasn’t read a single book on medieval history or considered how to make any sort of social analysis at all.
Or…
My son informs me that this is also applicable:
So like what, 97.5% of the adult population? Who, exactly, are they going to kill? I mean assuming this isn’t just an needlessly complicated way to knock off cell phone users it seems like the ‘targets’ should be that tiny minority that aren’t using phones.
/me looks at Wikipedia article.
/me notes cover image on novel and publication date.
Ah, now it makes a bit more sense.
Cell was a novel that could have been decent but I think King was still recovering from being hit by a car, and it showed in the writing; there was no actual resolution after the climax… he ended up just phoning it in.
C’mon, now; I had to.
I didn’t even notice this was by Stephen King until you said that. Wow. I usually like his stories, at least more often than not. Yeah … this does seem like a “I’m recovering from trauma” kind of story.
