This picture makes the room look normal sized.
The one in the earlier picture makes it look like it’s only a 6’ ceiling or so.

Truth. I have so many sun damaged books because my bookshelf was next to my office window for years.
It does look like there’s a skylight there.

Eep. Given my propensity for forgetting things I’m pontificating about when I’m boozy, I’d end up having to look up something that had temporarily left my brain and breaking my drunken fool neck whilst searching for it. At least the the other one has railings and proper stairs.
