I still haven’t shaved in spite of the association of beards & alt-right types. Now I’m reconsidering it, given that Jr., & more recently, Eric are sporting them. I know beards are more distinctive, but what’s next, going “Donald Duck” because some famous bigot wears pants? I still say we should don berets or something.

P.S. That said, I would not wear a red tie because of the possible association with the Red-Tie-Wearer-in-Chief. But I also wouldn’t wear a red tie because I put on a tie maybe once or twice a year, and it isn’t likely to come up. I am slightly more likely to put on a red tie than I am likely to put on red trousers, or a red sportcoat.
