Grinter said in a statement posted to Twitter on Monday that Winner’s release “is not a product of the pardon or compassionate release process, but rather the time earned from exemplary behavior while incarcerated.”

If the Former Guy was still occupying the White House this never would have happened. Liberal-democratic norms just tend to reduce the number of political prisoners in any given nation-state.

sure, but Biden should have pardoned her immediately. Instead we’ll have the same persecution of whistle blowers we had under Obama.
