I did volunteer work for the ACLU for the first time ever this year, writing postcards to encourage people to vote. I actually went to a party and got everyone I talked to there to write a postcard. I don’t do this sort of thing normally. At all. I don’t like to talk about politics, as I get angry way too quickly. But this seemed so important, and asking people to vote is a simple, powerful message I can get behind. Gads I hope it makes a difference.
