Agreed with this, 100%. Have you read Lizabeth Cohen’s book A Consumers’ Republic?

It has a chapter on the classic civil rights period and how consumer spaces (department stores and restaurants, specially) became an important battle ground, specifically because of how rights were being redefined as that of the consumer. So, isn’t part of the problem where the battle ground lies, and how we get movement on specific issues?

I feel bad for Moot, he just wanted to create something his friends could enjoy and it turned into a billion burning hitlers … and waifu pillows.

Even though I swim in the dark places of the INTERTUBES (fraud, crime, etc) I gotta say I am relieved I don’t know half the acronyms used here.
