Any disease that makes you bleed out from the nipples and die is not “media-inflamed”. And there’s a reason those people were in hazmat suits. It wasn’t for the cameras.
You, like many others, are conflating the media response with the disease itself. A disease as serious as ebola is OF COURSE newsworthy and tragic and necessary to cover. The majority of the news coverage was not about that. It was about arresting visuals, the gruesome details of the symptoms presented in a titillating manner, and the racist agenda to keep Africans from traveling to America.
