His MAGAt disciples will cheer this on, as “just retribution.” It won’t cost him a single acolyte. But it might peel off a few “Trump-curious” who realize this is a step too far. Of course, with Project 2025 in the news (at last) anyone who does not think that is a step too far probably won’t have an issue with this, either. It’s a horribly bad place we are in, and the only answer is to evict the fascists from wherever they have found shelter and drive them back into their holes.

Well, there’s his problem. He assumes the GQP mob actually wants American government to continue. Clearly, they do not, and that includes the GQP elected representatives currently in the institutions of government.

I think it’s time for the current president to call in Seal Team 6 to protect the democratic republic from these internal threats and lets test this recent Supreme Court ruling.

Or at the very least for the FBI to have a long conversation with Mr. Raiklin in a very uncomfortable room about his creation of a “target list” of potential assassination or at least swatting targets.

The FBI could also quietly inform the people on that list and either offer them protection (if appropriate, like for the politicians) or let them prepare (hiring bodyguards, obtaining self defense weapons, etc.)
