This is gorgeous. Interesting to see how the flapper look has been reined in & the dropped waist is migrating back upward. But the flapper bobs are still there! I especially love the sparkle-bodice-with-tulle-skirt & the double gored skirt. Never mind ankles, I wish I could see shoes. And pray that a similar clip will show up for a Paul Poiret show.

Interesting. It reminds me to wonder about what the actual environment would have been like back then. I have heard speculation that (to our “modern” sensibilities) everybody back then would have reeked. Any truth to this, or is it just more of this:
