The term you want is “stop motion video”.
I’m impressed the plastic wasn’t terribly brittle after this many years.

Just don’t shoot power lines with it. That was a big scary thing not to do when the super soaker first came out.
Definitely check out his other videos. This is the only stop-motion one he’s done, AFAIK, but they’re all worth watching.
That was wonderful. I’m glad it was featured here.
Jan Svankmeyer would be proud.
