It is very low key but no less affecting for it, i still think about it now. I know the oscars had to give best film to something like this so as to avoid the justified criticisms of lack of diversity the year before but it still surprises me given how little it resembles oscar bait. Not that i give a toss about awards but… brokeback mountain was still robbed, damn it.
