If you have an inexpensive burr grinder, like the Capresso, don’t try to grind the nibs in it. They gum it up something awful and you will have to take it all apart and clean it.

It was reported here in October. I’d be willing to ignore the knowledge for the sake of cocoa, though…

I think that was shown in humans in the 90s with beta-carotene and lung cancer in smokers. They had to stop the study because too many subjects died.
I’m certainly not excluding the possibility.
