Rhode Island proposes blocking all online porn and charging $20 to unblock it

There may be more than just cox, but you can’t know until you pay your $20.

(@zuludaddy’s wordplay was funny, even if it could have been phrased more accurately.)

“Seriously ill informed,” eh? Ok. I don’t agree, but I’m sorry to have offended you. It was not my intention. That said, Verizon’s FiOS does not compare favorably to Cox’s high speed offerings, and my AT&T mobile gets internet, and Verizon and T Mobile phones all do the same. Why so exercised? My original point was meant to be jocular and slightly racy. “Cox is the only major purveyor of at-home high-speed internet in Rhode Island,” ok with you?

That’s a neat $21.12 million for Rhode Island ISPs (using fabulously bad estimation).

Again. Informed yourself. Fios and Cox have the same exact speeds and offerings.

Whatever floats your boat. I really don’t need to argue this since Facts are facts. Enjoy your day.

Do you…work for Verizon, perhaps? Maybe just having a bad day? Sorry, mate.

I do not. My day is fine. You are speaking from your opinion and not fact. So by all means be like our illustrious president and enjoy your own facts in your own little world.

Good day.

I mean I just thought it was a well-placed dick joke but as we are so oft reminded, YMMV

That was my intent, but I think I’ve just been compared to Gorky Pig - a first for me, so there’s that…

oh, but they need to be able to “test” the system

Is there a site that keeps track of which elected representatives have demonstrated that they’re complete morons like this?

Could be handy

For that, a site would have had to digitize every single American History reference in the Library of Congress and the New York Public Library and starting with the landing of the Pilgrams.

I mean you know, for electoral purposes - current morons would suffice.

Gotcha’.

As a start try https://www.politico.com/

Not 100% dedicated to what you’re looking for. Basically slightly left of center as far as ‘demonstrated’ ideology. But there are 100% dedicated watchdog sites and blogs out there; I’d google for that.

Would “coffeemilking” still be legal?

“Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.” (Matthew 10:34). Jesus was way into the second amendment, it turns out.
