Conjunction Junction has been a welcome earworm since I heard about his death on the news. I’ve been rump-shakin’ around the house and singing it while doing chores.

I believe the voice for I’m Just a Bill (and many other SH Rock songs) is that of Jack Sheldon. Bob Dorough wrote it but it’s Sheldon’s voice. I only bring this up because it read as though you’re attributing the vocals to Dorough.
Either way: brilliant man, brilliant life. RIP!

That’s correct, and Jack Sheldon’s still with us (there’s a documentary about him), and so is Dave Frishberg (who wrote “I’m Just a Bill” – but IIRC, Dorough, Dearie and/or Frishberg had already been collaborating for a while)
