There’s a heatwave because people use too much energy, and people are expected to use more energy because of the heatwave. We, as a species, deserve to die.
Remember when regular rolling blackouts were only for developing nations? Climate change is doing its part to accelerate the U.S.'s return to banana republic(an) status.

They still had them in some parts of California on Monday. A family member in Sonoma County missed a zoom lab meeting because her neighborhood had no power for 4 hours.
