You specifically denigrated their opinions as “steaming piles,” implying they are false at the very least. So I wanted to know what justification you have for such a characterization.

facts can be evaluated based on their factuality, opinions cannot, i try not to conflate the two. demanding falsity for disliking opinions, misunderstands the nature of facts vs opinions. you know all the common sayings about “other people’s opinions” right?
when you only care meh, and you step in someone else’s “fervor”, they’ll chase you for blocks yelling and shaking their fists. at some point you just have to stop making eye contact, and let it be all them.
that’s what i’m going to do now. catch everyone on a drier trail another day.
