The prime ingredient of paint removers is usually Methylene chloride.

Ah, the “satisfying paint removal” video.
No indications given of how the product was pre-treated, or the chemical used, how long it actually took, and the distinct presence of YouTube restoration video grime. I assume any of these videos are fake. Paging @VeronicaConnor
Unfortunately trying to get real answers about paint stripping now on the internet os an impossibility because so many home improvement articles are just listicle articles from content aggregators or AI slop. Even “Ask This Old House” now is useless as a resource.
