The person studying whether nose-picking healthcare workers contract more illness is named Dr. Sikkens. Love it.

Had to check and see if it is April 1. Is this self-reported picking? Surveillance?

As I told my son, even before the pandemic, “keep your fingers out of the holes in your head”.

Apparently self-reported:

Sikkens said with the proportion of nose pickers similar to figures from previous surveys of the general public, it seems participants were not self-censoring their responses.

What about if they picked their friend’s nose? Do we have any data on that situation?
