Pass; reality is already plenty ‘dark and dystopian’ enough as it is. I don’t need any in my escapism, thanks.

I tend to avoid dark, depressing shows with mixed moral messages these days, but I’ll watch Black Mirror. Best science fiction writing on television in the past decade. It feels like the best SFF short stories made manifest as live media, and they do such a great job riffing off our current social issues.
Plus San Junipero is the finest, most poignant episode of any show ever. (Note: if you’re avoiding the series, do at least watch this one episode, its tonally different than many of the rest and quite lovely).

Well I’m in. Yes, many of them are dark and bleak, but also good Twighlight Zone ish stories which I love. Fantastic sci-fi stories, quite often.
I should - re-watch the seasons again, it has been awhile.
