I definitely remember this! Rewatching it as an adult, I’m impressed with its subtlety. I’d never (consciously) noticed that the lost child traces back through landmarks, ignoring the people. And, indeed, the people are different on the return trip. Very cool!

I once proposed to my co-workers that we have a day where instead of talking to each other, we would sing everything that we wanted to say. Sadly, my proposal wasn’t taken seriously, though it was made in earnest.
