It was effing bumpy last night for sure. Lots of flights were delayed or canceled coming out of the Rockies.
Above image shows wind conditions at 12 - 1 AM Thursday at apprx 35k Ft. The skies over Tenn. look messy.
Color me impressed if these 7 injured passengers were still belted into their seats.
(For that reason I will wear mine extra tight if I anticipate that level of turbulence, especially in smaller aircraft.)
I can’t help but think of book “Airframe”. I give Crichton credit for delving into the investigative process involving a fictional airline accident where people got hurt.
Was Airframe super racist? I remember something about China and the wing of the aircraft being important, but I can’t recall offhand if I’m just importing the racism I remember in this one from Rising Sun.
I can’t really recall anything that stood out as racist. ‘Airframe’ is a wonkish narrative involving the processes and procedures of the aerospace industry in the 1980’s. I was impressed by the book because it took sterile subject matter and made an interesting story out of it.
That doesn’t protect you from someone else’s laptop turning into a projectile, though.
That … looks an awful lot like a dragon. No wonder it was bumpy up there.
Just look at it!
It does? Because I see three rats
