I believe this is in fact a sophisticated metaphor for the world we face entering 2017. A bunch of dildos carrying out their masters’ directives, with one gimp jarringly inserted into the middle of it all. He’s still carrying out the same directives, but cut a deal to get his own “shining moment” for the promotion of his GIMP brand.
