One way or another, this building is coming down.
I only hope they disassemble it before the Next Big One does the job for them.
The cynic in me says the developers are hoping for the NBO, so they are off the hook for damages.

I really only feel bad for the hundreds of workers that are going to die fixing this thing or taking it down. That dipshit Ron Hamburger and the developers should have to live on the top floor until his mistake is corrected.

The developers are already off the hook. The cost of repairs bankrupted them (they reformed under a new name) and the city is paying for all of this. That detail is not getting enough press, frankly.
