Sometimes I remember how Jonathan Frakes (best known as Commander Riker) got his start modeling as Captain America at comic book events and probably thought “This is so demeaning, I can’t wait until my career takes off so I don’t have to dress up as a stupid Marvel character anymore.” How times have changed.

It’s weird how press only describes him as a Marvel star who sprang forth fully formed from some star mold now. As though the five years that CBC paid him to be delightful on Kim’s Convenience had no part in things.
