Ha! I found the workaround to the broken comments link in the article. The link to unread topics still leads here.

Anyway, I am a big fan of the Musee Mecanique and I don’t find it any of the machines creepy. These were cutting edge back in the day. It’s so cool to wander around trying out these old things.

Then you can head a little further down the pier and go on the USS Pompanito, a WWII sub and then the SS Jeremia O’Brien Liberty Ship.

As for the broken links, I run across them from many authors, not just Popkin.

BB needs a “report broken link” on every article.

Can’t imagine why there would be an explicit step required to publish the link to the article’s comments. The CMS should handle that automatically. Something broken with the infrastructure methinks.
