Go Kit!!!
Clearly cisgender people have strongly held opinions about this action; which they characterize as unimportant to transgender people. I look forward to their discussing what this means to them as cisgender people.
I think there might be something worth exploring here.
My nephew is a trans guy. He’s over 6 feet.
I run a dance class that welcomes trans people and therefore I’m all in favour of doing what they’re doing in that respect. There are lots of sports that could take a page out of that book.
Yes, symbols are fine, but in the end it’s probably the actions that count more. It’s good to see that pretend-Quidditch is not all-symbols-and-no-actions. In any case, renaming the sport may be a good idea after all for a variety of reasons, including but not limited to distancing it from Ms Rowling’s views, so let’s hope they come up with a catchy new name.
Your approval means the world to me.
You’re so much nicer than me about this.
What would an action look like in this case?
I’m 6’4" and femme leaning genderqueer. Finding feminine clothing in my size range is a challenge! There have been days where I want to present more fem, but end up going neutral simple because I don’t have the spoons to put together an outfit. Earlier this year I went out on a first date with a lovely trans woman I met online. Imagine my surprise when she turned out to be taller than me!
Um … vaguely related content? Let’s see, I still sometimes go with the punk aesthetic – combat boots, stripey socks, and a knee length skirt. Something something sports outfit something?
Edit: s/day/date
My nephew doesn’t have difficulty finding men’s clothes. He probably did have trouble finding women’s before he transitioned.
Shoes have been the most frustration for me. I’m not about to attempt high heels, so luckily I can get away with black tennis shoes most of the time.
Hmm. I definitely see some possibilities there; thank you!
Golden snitches get Golden stitches, so it’s not all bad
If they’re lucky they get golden stitches
Otherwise they sleep with the fitches
Quite close to Bazinga, mind.
I used to think that, then I had a chat with some players (they were doing a demo at a school fete).
The rules are actually pretty decent. I mean running around with a stick between your leg is still silly, but it does seem like a good laugh even disassociated from HP.
This place will do full custom to your measurements for like en extra $10. And re-do it if the clothes don’t fit right. https://www.eshakti.com/
I’m cisgender, but have broad shoulders, long limbs, and generous proportions. That website has been awesome for work clothes. Nice quality
Oh, eShakti has been on my radar for some time now! Now that I have an in-person job again I’m actively expanding my wardrobe and they will be getting some of my money for sure.
